Berdon joined the New York Mets and Learn Fresh at Northern Parkway Elementary to build on the Math Hits program, which promotes STEM and social-emotional learning. The educational sessions taught the students about possible STEM career paths, while cultivating genius and joy through interactive games and presentations on personal and professional branding, financial literacy, and resume building tips and best practices.
