NEW YORK — Berdon professionals, Mark Bosswick and Jeffrey Kovacs, have been honored as 2022 Notable Leaders in Accounting and Consulting by Crain’s New York Business. These professionals were two of the 64 honorees selected by Crain’s based on their success in finding solutions to the business challenges impacting their clients, firms, and industry. Examples of these challenges included attracting and retaining top talent as well as advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in their organizations.
About the 2022 Honorees
Mark Bosswick, Managing Partner of Berdon, has spent his entire 30+ year career at the firm. He integrates the knowledge he has gained as both a CPA and J.D. to provide comprehensive and practical advice to high-net-worth individuals, their families, and their business interests. Mark’s practice focuses on tax and wealth planning with particular emphasis on structuring for closely held businesses and investment vehicles. His work for clients involves a range of matters, from creating tax-efficient wealth transfer structures to addressing income tax issues arising from investments and operating businesses; he also serves as a fiduciary, mediator, investment consultant, and board member to a number of prominent families.
Jeffrey Kovacs, Audit Partner and Technology and Life Sciences Industry Leader, has more than 35 years of professional experience. Jeff’s Technology and Life Sciences Practice encompasses a broad and continually diversifying sector that embraces such areas as Software, SaaS, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, robotics, and the ever-expanding array of health technology companies. He spends significant time advising clients on building financial and operational infrastructures to allow them to grow from start-up through maturity and eventual liquidity.
