Geoffrey Kayton is a Tax Principal with Berdon. During his more than 10 years in the profession, he has advised clients on a wide variety of tax matters. He specializes in advising clients who own closely-held real estate. He has a passion for real estate, which stems from the economic benefits that it provides to communities, as well as the creative opportunities that ownership provides. His entrepreneurial background, and owning rental real estate himself, gives him a unique perspective into his clients’ needs.

capital improvements and depreciation options.
- Reviewing operating agreements to help clients understand their impacts in various circumstances.
- Analyzing and modeling transaction and financing options to better understand the economics and
