Harvey Susnick, a Tax Partner, has more than three decades of experience delivering audit, tax, and advisory services to a wide range of clients. He guides high net worth individuals and the businesses they own with techniques to help them grow, transfer, and protect their wealth. Harvey consults on tax strategies and ways to meet cash flow needs to help clients achieve the lifestyles they want. He brings together broad accounting and financial expertise to help individuals, families, and couples of varying lifestyles to make informed decisions and retirement plans in tune with their goals.
Harvey’s extensive expertise extends to:
- Reviewing operations and internal controls to ensure compliance
- Devising succession planning strategies to ensure family/owner-managed business continuity
- Structuring and negotiating the formulation of partnerships and dissolution agreements

Harvey has particular experience guiding medical practitioners and healthcare groups. Among his many areas of specialization, he:
- Reviews billing procedures and analysis of collection and receivable ratios
- Provides RVU-based cost accounting to review managed care contracts

Harvey regularly presents seminars to healthcare practitioners on maximizing practice profitability and preserving wealth. He has appeared in healthcare publications including The Journal of Medical Practice Management, and he has provided commentary in Newsday and Long Island Business News. Harvey was chosen as one of LIBN’s “Accounting Ones to Watch,” and has been accepted as an expert witness on medical financial practices in federal court.
EDUCATION AND LICENSES
Harvey graduated from New York University cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He obtained his license as a certified public accountant in New York in 1976.
