Berdon Partner and Co-Leader of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice, Bill Saya, spoke to GlobeSt.com about why employers are delaying decisions about office space. Citing Berdon’s 2022 East Coast Real Estate Market study, he indicated that this has also lead to uncertainty about the office segment among real estate executives and investors. In an effort to assist employers with getting staff back in the office, he noted that many owners and landlords are offering concessions and amenities, converting existing office space, or repurposing the space altogether for booming industries like technology, healthcare, and life sciences companies.
